Oh no, gloom, doom and armaggedon for teenage mothers and their children.
Man, let's just go kill ourselves. Seriously, get over this b***s*** and see things for what they really are: mothers from bad socio-economic backgrounds are more at risk of: a) becoming a teenage mother, b) not being a good parent.
Teenage years also covers a very wide range of age. Can you really compare 13 with 19?
No.
Maaaan, these articles just piss me off, it's like it's some bloody emergency.
Sorry, that's my opinion, and my comment. I had my son at 17, and he's two and a half now, and what's to come and long-term outcomes, I don't know of course, I can't tell you what they are, but for now, seems to me ........we're doing just fine. Maybe a little under the poverty belt, but the Lord will look after us. My son gets love, attention, social interaction with other kids and people, food, a roof over his head....I think we're doing okay. These apocalyptic articles really annoy me though.
